Ann Linton

President

Ann was one of the original founders that started with our predecessor group a chapter of FWA in 2003, realizing a need for a professional woman’s organization in Chicago. The NFP of CFW was created in 2006. Her role is President and she as been on the board since inception in some capacity.

She was a Client Service professional with over 30 years in the Institutional finance area.  Ann  currently has her own business and is semi-retired.

Christina Maronta

Treasurer

Christina Maronta is a financial service professional with 15 years of banking, sales and relationship management experience serving affluent investors and institutions.  She holds a MS Finance degree from Lewis University and a BS Finance degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.  She has been a CFW member since 2013 and a Board member since 2016.  She actively serves with a variety of non-profit organizations including Pillars Community Health Center of La Grange, PAWS Chicago, Susan G. Komen Foundation and the Chicago Architecture Foundation.

In her role as Treasurer, she is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reviewing procedures for the budget, financial reporting, and advising on fundraising.

Monette Cope

Secretary

Monette is a bankruptcy attorney with Weltman, Weinberg & Reis and represent banks and financial institutions in bankruptcy courts.  She manages litigation on a national basis, including representing student loan lenders in bankruptcy.

She has been a board member of CFW since 2011, and serves as the organization’s secretary. The Secretary is responsible for assisting the President in setting the agenda for board meetings, attending and documenting the meetings, and keeping and maintaining the records of Chicago Financial Women.

Nolita Vassell

Director of Events

Nolita Vassell has been in the financial industry for over 12 years; with experience ranging from servicing clients in niche international investments to private wealth management. In her current role at BNY Mellon Wealth Management, Nolita manages the sales support team of the Central Region offices in Chicago, Cleveland, Pittsburgh and DC. These offices service high net worth individuals, families and foundations in over 12 states within the region.

As Director of events at Chicago Financial Women; Nolita Co Chairs our efforts  in event planning and coordination, which includes establishing dates and topics and arranging for speakers. She also serves as the liaison in connecting and establishing relationships with other related organizations to co-chair events.

Events Marketing

This role within the organization is Events Group Coordinator and Marketing. Their role is to market our organization and upcoming events, including via social media outlets such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. They coordinate the CFW board members and event committee with the events logistics, assists with event check in and networking with attendees, and supports the group to assure a successful year.

Meghan Credit

Events Group Coordinator

Meghan works as a Resource Manager for Robert Half Management Resources, focusing specifically on the financial services industry. Previously, she worked in the insurance industry as a Life & Health Actuary. She holds a BS in Mathematics from Kansas State University, and is a former D1 athlete. During her free time, Meghan volunteers with the Hamlin Park Baseball Association, serving as a Head Coach for an 8U softball team in the division.
