Ann Linton

President

Ann was one of the original founders that started with our predecessor group a chapter of FWA in 2003, realizing a need for a professional woman’s organization in Chicago. The NFP of CFW was created in 2006. Her role is President and she as been on the board since inception in some capacity.

She is a Client Service professional with over 30 years in the Institutional finance area. Currently she is doing US sales, marketing and relationship management for ECS Global Inc., a global software company.

Christina Cerdan

Treasurer

Christina is a financial services professional with 15 years of banking and relationship management experience serving affluent investors and institutions. She holds a MS Finance degree from Lewis University and a BS Finance degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She actively serves with a variety of non-profit organizations including the Community Nurse Health Center of La Grange, PAWS Chicago, Susan G. Komen Foundation, the Chicago Architecture Foundation, and Girls Scouts of America.

She has been a CFW member since 2013 and a Board member since 2016. In her role as Treasurer, she is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reviewing procedures for the budget, financial reporting, and advising on fundraising.

Monette Cope

Secretary

Monette is a bankruptcy attorney with Weltman, Weinberg & Reis and represent banks and financial institutions in bankruptcy courts.  She manages litigation on a national basis, including representing student loan lenders in bankruptcy.

She has been a board member of CFW since 2011, and serves as the organization’s secretary. The Secretary is responsible for assisting the President in setting the agenda for board meetings, attending and documenting the meetings, and keeping and maintaining the records of Chicago Financial Women.

Sharon McEvoy

Director of Events

Sharon works as Vice President, Marketing for Dynasty Financial Partners.

Event planning includes establishing dates and topics, arranging for speakers, reserving the event site, and coordinating location support and catering. Connecting and establishing relationships with other related organizations to co-chair events.

Natalie Fakelmann

Director of Events

Natalie is a Ratings Analyst in US Public Finance at S&P Global Ratings on the Charter Schools team. She has an MBA in Finance from DePaul University and an MA in Cross-Cultural and Sustainable Business Management from The American University of Paris.

Nolita Vassell

Director of Events

Nolita is a Business Development Associate at BNY Mellon Wealth Management. She holds a BBA from De Paul University.

Event planning includes establishing dates and topics, arranging for speakers, reserving the event site, and coordinating location support and catering. Connecting and establishing relationships with other related organizations to co-chair events.

Alessandra Schianchi

Events Group Coordinator

Alessandra works as a Profit Specialist for UPS. Prior to that she worked in the private equity industry. She holds a MS in Accounting, Finance and Control from Bocconi University.

Her role within the organization is Events Group Coordinator and Marketing. She markets our organization and upcoming events, including via social media outlets such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. She coordinates the CFW board members and event committee with the events logistics, assists with event check in and networking with attendees, and supports the group to assure a successful year.
