Board Members

Ann Linton

President

Ann was part of the original group that started our predecessor group (FWA) in 2003, realizing a need for a professional woman’s organization in Chicago. Her role is Events Committee Director and besides planning the years events she also holds Networking Happy Hours in the Summer months.

She has been on the Board as Event Chair and Co-chair several times over the years. Ann is currently employed with Duff & Phelps Investment Management Company.

Linda Trandel

Treasurer

Linda was an SAP consultant who traveled weekly for the last 12 years, so she was only able attend a few CFW sessions over the years. She retired in Dec 2012, and thought she would go back to work in a few months- but is enjoying a less stressful life. After attending a CFW meeting this year, she has volunteered to be the CFW treasurer – a small step to possibly getting back into the working world. “I find I miss the camaraderie and team work most of all.” The CFW is a great group of women of all ages and talents and I am excited for the 2013-2014 season.

Monette Cope

Secretary

The Secretary is responsible for assisting the President in setting the agenda for board meetings, attending and documenting the meetings, and keeping and maintaining the records of Chicago Financial Women.

Debra Robinson

Director of Marketing

The marketing committee is responsible for the marketing communication materials that keep members up to date on the organization’s programs and activities. This includes developing, writing, approving and updating the website, brochures, mailings, press releases, membership recruitment materials and speaker biographies. The group will also focus on expanding the coverage of CFW events and activities by reaching out to new communication/media sources in addition to actively utilizing social media.
